Living in suburbia, north Brisbane, I am lucky enough to have a large bottlebrush tree in my backyard. Flocks of rambunctious lorikeets like to frequent in the late spring to early summer, creating quite a stir. 
This artwork radiates a magical energy. Highlighting the striking beauty of the lorikeet and bottlebrush through dramatic contrasting and intense vibrancy. Take a closer look and you will see layers upon layers of tremendously fine detailing and textures. A feast for the eyes.
